Blue Gillespie is a Welsh band fronted by Gareth David-Lloyd, who played Ianto Jones on Torchwood. I wanted to make a pony as a tribute to the band, but it wasn't until they came out with a new logo that it finally hit me. The base is a Peri Winkle who was very dirty (smudges can still be seen on her, though I cleaned her within an inch of her life). I left the original hair in, as it suited the monochrome color scheme, and so my main modification of the base was simply painting, working in the existing 'jewel' with the band's logo. I also did the hair up in a messy, rock & roll style.
