After a lot of frustrating (and boring) travails, we arrived in London on Monday morning. We took the train over to Kings Cross Station, where I took a quick picture of a gorgeous London sky that we wouldn't see again.

The next stop was Eustion Station, where we got on a train to Liverpool to stop at a B&B (that had originally been Saturday night's place to sleep before our plans went awry). We picked up the keys and headed back to the train, where we got stuck in Preston for three hours while the overhead lines were fixed. Finally, at 1:30 in the morning, we reached Edinburgh, Waverly Station, and our flat. This is a shot of the bedroom I stayed in.
