Background: Parents recently divorced, Melanie was a freshman at the University of Indiana before coming to Sanctuary. She was a valedictorian with incredible SAT and ACT scores, but was discriminated against due to her race when it came to choosing a school. Melanie is mentally well-focused and in peak physical condition.
